29th January 2021

Dear Parents/Carers,

We have reached the end of week 4, and we seem to have been inundated with announcements from the Government.

We now know that schools will remain as they are until at least March 8th, when hopefully there will be a clearer picture of the infection rates.

The fabulous vaccination programme, particularly here in Berwick, is really filling me with hope.

I know how tough this is for everyone, particularly those of you who are at home. The weather isn’t helping either! But I would ask you all not to be tempted to mix households by letting your children play with their friends. We have come so far, and it is more important than ever now to keep the virus at bay.

In our school we have a number of front line critical workers – nurses, midwives, care workers – and we are doing everything we can to ensure they can carry on working. Please do all you can to keep all our families safe.

I would like to say a huge thankyou to all who are home schooling. We really understand how hard this is, and appreciate all that you are doing.

Take care everyone, and be kind to each other.

We are in this together.

Mrs Robertson
