Weekly Newsletter 04.03.22

4th March 2022

Dear Parents/Carers,

I am very pleased to report that we have had no covid cases amongst the children this week. We have a member of staff currently self isolating, and we wish her a speedy recovery, and hope to see her back next week.

We are beginning to gradually remove some of our covid measures in school. You will have noticed that we have taken down the barrier in the playground, so that the children can play together in Key Stage groups once again. Staff in school are wearing face coverings less often. We have asked you as parents to wear face coverings up to now, and we have really appreciated your respect for the staff. We will not be asking this of you now, and it will be very much your personal choice.

We all really enjoyed World Book Day on Thursday. The children took part with great enthusiasm, and made it a great day for us all.

A huge thankyou to all who brought donations into school for the people of Ukraine who have been displaced to a Polish refugee camp. Mrs Hodgson delivered everything to the drop off point, and it will be travelling to Poland this week. This is a terrible situation, and it was good to be able to do something practical to help.

Have a lovely weekend and take care everyone,

Mrs Robertson
