Weekly Newsletter 16.9.22

16th September 2022

Dear Parents/Carers,

The children are now well settled back into school, and getting used to their new classes.

Please make sure that all school uniform has your child’s name in as it is easily lost.

We will be giving all parents an opportunity to speak to their child’s class teacher in the coming weeks. You will have the choice of a face to face meeting, or a phone call if you prefer.

You should have all received login details for Seesaw by now - teachers regularly communicate information to families via seesaw so please let us know if you're having difficulties setting this up at home - we are happy to help with any technical issues you may be having.

You will shortly be receiving a diary of this terms’ events. We are very pleased that we are able to welcome parents in again for performances and events, although we are still being quite cautious about how we manage this. We will be restricting the number of people in school at any one time.

Thankyou to those who have already contributed to our collection for the Food Bank. The box is in the school office, and we will continue to collect items over the next few weeks.

We have been discussing the death of Queen Elizabeth in school this week. We have done this sensitively, in a way that is appropriate to the age of the children. School will be closed on Monday 19th, for the State Funeral.

Have a good weekend,

Take care,

Mrs Robertson
